Qi White - Enlightened Cocktails 

Qi White's bright citrus flavors are  ideal for reinvigorating classic cocktails like Cosmos & Margaritas, and for envisioning exciting new creations. Qi White liqueur is handcrafted from a selection of exotic oranges, herbs and spices, and the delicate new buds of white tea, a rare and prized tea with sweet and earthy overtones. Recipe of the Month: Street Car Named Delicious

Qi Sidecar*

.75 oz Qi White

1.5 oz brandy (we like Osocalis)

.75 oz fresh lemon juice

Fill shaker 2/3 with ice. Add ingredients. Shake 15 seconds and strain into chilled cocktail glass.

Lady Marmalade*

.75 oz Qi White

1.25 oz Brandy

1/3 oz orange juice
1/4 oz lemon juice

1 heavy TSP orange marmalade

1 level TSP sugar

Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker. Shake very well & strain into chilled cocktail glass.

Happy Ending

2 parts Qi White

1 part Hangar One Buddha's Hand

2 tsp fresh Meyer lemon juice

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake, then strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with lemon. Finally, a cocktail with a happy ending!

Red & White *

2 oz Qi White
½ oz Cranberry juice
½  Lime squeeze

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake, then strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with lime. If Cosmos could sing...

Teagarita

2 oz Qi White

1 oz tequila
1.5 lime squeeze
Splash of simple syrup

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake & strain into a tumbler with ice. Garnish with lime wedge. Deliciosa!

Qi & Soda

2 oz Qi White
4 oz soda

Combine over ice in a tumbler. Add a splash of Lillet and orange bitters for extra zing. Garnish with an orange wheel in the bottom of the glass.

Blueberi Tea *

1 oz   Qi White

1 oz   Stoli Blueberi
½ oz  Blueberry puree'
2 dashes lemon juice
1 tspn simple syrup

Combine in a cocktail shaker. Shake, then strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with an orange twist.

Rickshaw *

1 oz Qi White

1 oz Qi Black

½ oz lemon juice

½ oz orange juice

¾ oz simple syrup

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into sugar-rimmed martini glass. Move over Sidecar!

Peach Teani *

¾ oz Qi White

2 oz Hangar One Vodka - Straight

1 oz fresh peach pureé

Shake ingredients with ice, then strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a strawberry wedge.

Qi Spot

1 part Qi White

1 part straight vodka (your favorite)

Combine in a cocktail shaker. Shake, then strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with an orange twist.

The Au Pear *  

2 oz Qi White
1 oz pear liqueur (we like St. George)
½  lemon, squeezed

2 dashes orange bitters

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake, then strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with lemon twist.

White Velvet *

2 parts Qi White

1 part Hangar One Mandarin Blossom Vodka

½ part Velvet Falernum

½ lime squeeze

Combine in a cocktail shaker. Shake, then strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with lime.

Flor de Mayo *

1 oz Qi White

2 oz dark rum (try Pampero Anniversario)

1 oz fresh lime juice

1 tspn simple syrup (to taste)

Combine in ice-filled mixing glass. Shake and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with lime twist.

2 oz Qi White

1 oz Charbay Green Tea vodka

1/2 fresh lime, juiced

Splash simple syrup

Shake and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with lime twist.

1 oz Qi White

1 oz Stoli Razberi

Dash of Chartreuse

1/2 fresh lemon, juiced

Shake and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon wheel.

The Yin Yang (for lovers)*
In two cocktail glasses:

YIN
2 oz Qi White

1 oz Godiva chocolate liqueur

Splash of Cream

YANG
2 oz Qi White

1 oz Godiva chocolate liqueur

Shake, then strain into chilled cocktail glasses. Garnish YIN with a dark chocolate swafer, and YANG with a white chocolate wafer. Serve side by side.

CREAMSICLE

1 oz Qi White

1 oz vodka (or orange vodka)
1 oz orange juice
1 oz cream

Shake all ingredients well, then strain into a cocktail glass. Try a scoop of vanilla ice cream instead of cream & ice. YUM!

Qir Royale *

1 oz Qi White

4 oz champagne or sparkling wine

1/2 fresh lime, juiced

Splash simple syrup

Pour Qi into a flute. Add champagne. Garnish with a small orange twist.

The Aberganenny *

1.5 oz Qi White

.5 oz maraschino liqueur (Maraska is great)

3 dashes Regan's Orange bitters

Stir vigorously to get a little melt water from the ice and strain into a port glass. Garnish with an orange twist.

Orange Blossom Mojito*

2 oz Qi White

.5 oz Cruzan rum

.5 oz simple syrup
6 mint leaves, 2 lime wedges, 1 orange slice
Splash club soda, splash Sprite

Muddle mint, lime, orange, and simple syrup in bottom of a rocks glass. Fill glass with ice. Add Qi & rum. Top with club soda & Sprite. Shake once.

1 oz Qi White

3 oz cold roiboos tea

1 oz pear liqueur

Combine, shake, and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with lime.

1 oz Qi White

1 oz Cognac

Combine in a brandy snifter & swirl. Ain't Qi beautiful!

 

Beijing Margarita*

.75 oz Qi White

2 oz tequila (we like Don Julio Blanco)

3 oz sweet-n-sour
3-4 lime wedges

Fill salt-rimmed margarita glass with ice, pour in liquids, squeeze limes. Stir & enjoy!

Zen Maker *

1 oz Qi White

1.5 oz Hangar One Mandarin Blossom

1 oz Dubbonet Roughe
.5 oz Qi Black

Shake with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Flame an orange peel, rub on rim, and drop in.

White & Tonic

2 oz Qi White

1 oz tonic

Combine in a tumbler over ice. Stir. Garnish with lemon. For marmalade lovers everywhere.

CreamsiCoole *

2 oz Qi White

1.5 oz Coole Swan cream liqueur

2 oz seltzer

Shake vigorously and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with orange zest & long orange twist.

Qi & Soda II

2 oz Qi White

1 oz soda
Orange wheel

Muddle orange wheel at bottom of rocks glass. Add ice, then Qi & soda. Stir.

Park Place Margarita *

1.5 oz Qi White

1½ lime squeeze

½ lemon squeeze

Splash of simple syrup

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake, then strain into a tumbler with ice. Garnish with lime. Also known as the “Park Place Margarita.” No tequila. Just perfect.

Qijito*

.5 oz Qi White

1.5 oz Bacardi Limon

.5 oz simple syrup
Soda & Sprite
5 mint leaves, 6 lime wedges

Muddle mint & simple syrup. Squeeze limes, add rum & Qi White. Add ice & shake. Pour into pint glass. Top with soda & Sprite. Garnish with mint sprig & lime wheel.

Black & White

.5 oz Qi White

1.5 oz Qi Black
Dash orange bitters

Shake, then strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with orange.

Suga' N Spice *

2 oz Qi White

1 oz Hangar One Buddha's Hand

½ orange, fresh-squeezed

Splash cinnamon simple syrup

Combine in a cocktail shaker. Shake, then strain into a chilled martini glass.

Qi driver

2 oz Qi White

1 oz fresh orange juice

Combine in a tumbler with ice and stir. So simple, so good.

 

Street Car Named Delicious*

.5 oz Qi White

1.5 oz brandy

1 oz lemon juice
.5 oz agave syrup (or simple)
2-3 dashes cardamom bitters

Pre-make bitters by infusing 2 oz vodka with 3 cardamom pods. Shake & strain ingredients into a cocktail glass rimmed with sugar. Garnish with lemon twist.
